Position Summary
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of general industrial maintenance activities.
Build, install and trouble shoot electronic and electrical systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIE
Provide and maintain a safe work environment.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning circuits and wiring.
Utilize testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeter’s, etc.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
Install and activate new equipment.
General maintenance activities which may involve, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, steam and electrical.
Must use frequent physical effort to perform job duties.
At times work may require elevated physical capability.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES
Participate with the Maintenance and facility High-Performance Team(s) to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
Participate on project teams, star point teams and kaizen events when needed.
Attend and participate in all training opportunities required to develop in the role.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicable trade school is desired.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience can be substituted for this requirement.
Knowledge and utilization of testing equipment is required.
Qualified to perform a variety of industrial maintenance activities.

Ability to operate material handling equipment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Heavy lifting in excess of 50 pounds may be required.
Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push and pull to achieve maintenance assignments.
Standing and walking 90% of the day.
Hot temperatures during the summer
Frequent squatting, bending and twisting.
Occasional crawling and/or climbing
Continuous use of hands and fingers.
Some assignments may require reaching above shoulders
Possible exposure to nuisance dusts and fumes.
Primarily indoor work but some outdoor assignments are possible.
Occasional assignments working at heights.
