Education and/or Experience:
o3 years of tire and auto service experience
oBackground in tires, batteries and accessories
Required Knowledge:
oCorrectly and safely use shop equipment
oAttend to customer service
Language Skills:
oRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
oWrite routine reports and correspondence
oSpeak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Mathematical Skills:
oCalculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
oApply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Reasoning Ability:
oAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
oAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
oCurrent Drivers License.
oFork lift drivers certificate

Finger Dexterity: Using primarily the fingers in making motions to make station tickets, turn on fuel pumps, repair tires, change oil and other repair jobs on vehicles
Talking: One must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately and quickly
Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
Repetitive Motions: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hand and/or fingers
Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery
Physical Strength: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to use hand to finger, handle or feel; to reach with hands, and arms; and taste and smell.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Include the following and others may be assigned
oStation Sales and Service
Available for after hour calls and emergency service
Promote our Petroleum and Station Division
Responsible for all sales tickets to be properly priced and billed
Be aware of the current retail market and notify management of the current business climate
Inventory Management-counting, pricing and general inventory knowledge
Minimize shrink and shortage
Continue to learn and keep abreast of current laws affecting tire service and auto parts installation
Promote new marketing ideas related to our Petroleum Division
oResponsible for the image and conditions of the Station
Maintain a clean environment at all times
oAt all times, keep safety of the employee and customer as a priority
Monitor safety standards for the station warehouse, equipment, and postings required
Utilize the safety tools provided to minimize risk
oAttentive to Customer Service satisfaction with tire and auto service needs
Greet people in a friendly and professional manner
oPromote leadership and support the Petroleum Division Standards
Fill in at other service centers when needed
Be to work on time and work the scheduled hours
Assist other divisions to achieve the Cooperatives financial and customer satisfaction goals, be a team player
oNotify the Station/C-Store Manager of any customer complaint or compliance issue
oCooperate fully with the main business office to maintain accurate information for our customer base
