Our vision of success becomes reality by treating every customer relationship as a partnership - for both internal and external customers! *Job Description* The Outside Parts Salesman is responsible for promoting and selling Kenworth truck parts to customers, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales skills, and excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will live and operate in-between the Scott City and Dodge City area and may need to travel to the Dodge City store location as needed for administrative purposes.

Join our dynamic team and be part of our success in the technology sales industry! *Position Requirements:* _*Duties:*_ -Prospect and acquire new customers in the trucking industry.
-Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships.
-Identify customer needs and recommend suitable Kenworth truck parts.
-Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
-Prepare and deliver sales quotations.
-Handle inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
_*Product Knowledge:*_ -Maintain a thorough knowledge of Kenworth truck parts, their applications, and compatibility.
-Stay updated on product changes, new releases, and industry trends.
-Be able to provide technical advice and support to customers.
_*Sales Targets/Market Data:*_ -Set and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
-Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
-Track and report on sales performance and activities.
-Stay informed about competitors and market trends.
-Identify potential opportunities for expanding the customer base.
-Report market intelligence to management.
_*Qualifications:*_ - Proven experience in outside sales, particularly in the trucking or automotive - Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to speak Spanish is a plus (Preferred) - Technical sales experience or knowledge of technology products is desirable - Valid driver’s license (Required) - Ability to life and move heavy parts as needed (70lbs) - Comfortable working outdoors and traveling to meet with customers We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
